Kuki eyed him. “Wally?” she asked; her voice pure and soft as an angel’s heart.

“Eh?” the tall young man looked up at her, and gave her a smile. “Yeah, Kuki?

“Are you… okay?” she asked, sounding worried. “You’ve been glancing around for a while. Is it because of the snowstorm?”

Wally rubbed the back of his head, biting his lower lip. “Ah, well… nah, not really. Just.. ay’ gotta ask ya something. Something… soon.”
